WHY TOP GUN
If you’re looking for a well-organized, well-established and professionally run all star cheerleading program that is world renowned not only for its success in competition but for producing the most admired and respectable athletes in the industry, there is no better place than here. This year, Top Gun is celebrating its 12th year, in SW Florida, and 20th overall! There are only a handful of programs in our industry that have been around as long yet none of them can match the number of State, National, and World Titles earned by our athletes but more importantly, the life-long values learned by our athletes.
Top Gun was founded on the philosophy that every athlete, even the so-called "best", could always be better. At the same time, we've also instilled in our athletes that no one person regardless of how talented they are is above the team. After nearly a decade and a half of putting this philosophy to the test, we can honestly say that this attitude and approach to coaching is the main reason why we've been able to withstand the test of time where many others have faltered.
So if you had any doubts about trying out this season, we hope this knowledge has put your mind at ease. So forget what you've heard. Come and join the rapidly growing Top Gun Family of athletes, parents, and fans. Register for tryouts today and guarantee your spot in what is sure to be the best Top Gun season ever!!!

FAQ’s
Q: What is the annual cost and how is it paid?
A: Annual cost runs between $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 and is paid in 11 monthly installments. Our younger/beginner teams run between $1,200 - $1,500. (Several fundraising and sponsorship opportunities are available to offset these costs)
Q: What does the annual cost include?
A: Everything the cheerleader needs for the year: monthly fees, uniforms, shoes, warm-ups, competition registrations, accessories, etc. (travel cost is not included)
Q: How many competitions do you attend; how far do you travel?
A: We attend 3 overnight competitions and 4 one-day/local competitions starting in December. Teams will travel to Orlando, Tampa, Daytona Beach, Miami, California, and other.
Q: How often do you practice? New for 2013 – 2014 (Sunday practices)
A: All teams practice one weekdays for 2 hours and one Sunday for 1 1/2 hours.
Q: I am going on vacation during the summer, should I wait until I get back to start?
A: Our summer schedule is flexible when it comes to attendance. We expect a cheerleader to attend practice if they are in town. Since most of our skill building is done over the summer the more the child attends practice the more they will progress. All Top Gun All Stars Gyms are closed the last 2 weeks of July, so we ask that your vacations be scheduled around these dates if possible. Tuition costs are calculated annually, so anyone starting after the summer will still pay the full tuition.
Q: Cheerleading has become a dangerous sport, so what experience do your coaches have?
A: The Top Gun All Star staff has been involved with all-star cheerleading for over 20 years. You will not find a more qualified group of coaches in the nation. Our staff is fully certified by the USASF in the latest safety and spotting techniques, and you can be assured that your child is in the best hands possible when it comes to cheerleading and gymnastics instruction.
Q: What cheerleading experience must a person have in order to make a team?
A: There are no requirements for tryouts; everyone that goes through the tryout process will make a Top Gun team. Top Gun takes great pride in improving the talent level of each individual within the organization. Everyone has to start somewhere, so why not start with the best.
